Texas Offline Host GibbsCAM 2006 Roll Out

Texas Offline, Inc., official resellers of GibbsCAM products, is pleased to announce their 2006 New Release Roll Out.  North Harris Community College will again host the free seminar which will be held Tuesday June 27 in Room WN 183 Machine Technology Bldg. from 9:30-3:00. The campus is located at 2700 WW Thorne Dr. in Houston, Texas (Map).  David Mott, Engineering Dept Chair and Andrew Jones, NHC’s CNC instructor from North Harris College are equally excited in the new Gibbs 8.0 Roll Out. “Texas Offline and GibbsCAM is always a welcome site here at North Harris” states Mott.

The GibbsCAM  presentation of V8 enhancements will be demonstrated by Gibbs Corporate. The new Version 8 that Maintenance customers will receive next month will include many enhancements with just a few mentioned below.

• Better ways to configure software for turning applications along with extended tool support.
• New Hybrid functions to merge multiple files into one VNC; smart mirror functions.
• Rotary roughing, offset contour milling, feature drill process and more.
• New tools that increase speed & efficiency for tackling tough jobs.
• Improved interface and stepped-up support for advanced graphics displays and hardware.
